There's been frost warnings. Someone tossed these lights out. I took the chance that they would work, and I'm pleased that I did.
I believe that I got them at the same place that I acquired a motherload of pots, two carloads of them. I learned that they had belonged to a man that had passed from cancer, the man's wife was clearing them out.
After I left, I kept thinking of the man. I wanted to thank him for his gardening passion. I know that I really wanted to know more about him. Maybe because he liked gardening, and that he had cancer made me want to know more about him. I nervously texted his wife and asked for his name. She texted back that he had been an avid gardener. That he passed away last month, and,his first name. Then a quote, “Life is for the living.” and, finally, that he loved to grow things, to think of him and have an abundant grow.
I was hesitant, but asked for his surname. She provided this and his obituary. It turned out that I would have loved to have known him, based on our similar interests. There were so many common interests that it was really weird to think of it all. I really would like to remember him here by name, but have no permission yet. I hope to be able to. I do appreciate the plethora of pots that I have inherited.

Beautiful lights! 😍
